If the #MeToo movement that’s swept the country has demonstrated one thing, it’s that women and men still aren’t workplace equals. Far too often, the ambitions of working women are suppressed by sexism and gender bias in a male-dominated corporate culture.
At DMA’s Email Evolution Conference (EEC) 2018, two female filmmakers will screen clips of their documentary about what holds back women in their careers. Ashley Maria, director, producer and co-writer of “Pioneers in Skirts,” and her mother, producer and co-writer Lea-Ann Berst, will discuss their project during the closing keynote luncheon. – read more –
