Future Friday Honoree Jill Zivley – October 2015

Jill Zivley is an assistant editor and production assistant living and working in Los Angeles.  Jill recently graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, with a BS in Film, Television, and Digital Media, with a minor in Communications.

When she moved to LA in 2014, she began working as an assistant editor for a small production company. Through friends at work, she met Ashley Maria and became aware of the Pioneers in Skirts project.

“Immediately upon hearing about her project I knew I had to be involved!” shares Jill. “As a woman working in a male-dominated industry, I was thrilled to get the chance to work with a team whose goal is rooted in supporting and acknowledging the PIONEERING efforts of all women, now and in the future!”

The team behind the feature documentary film, Pioneers in Skirts, is excited to feature this monthly honor program to highlight women who have taken enormous steps to take charge of their future.

Called Future Friday Honorees, these women are true role models for our next generation of working women. Be sure to follow along to meet these women at the beginning of each month, and then again in social media every Friday to learn more!!

Well we’re certainly thrilled to have Jill on our team!

She certainly is taking the right steps towards an upward trajectory in her career. Not only did Jill reach out to us to volunteer as a behind-the-scenes editor, she is always taking every opportunity to learn and grow her experience within the film industry.

Jill took the first big step when she made the leap to move to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. We’re super excited to see what happens next…remember that name: Jill Zivley! Be sure to connect with Jill on LinkedIn.
